Krav Maga’s main focus revolves around techniques that are easy, effective and efficient. It is the Official Hand-to-Hand Combat System of the Israeli Defense Forces. Developed for the Israeli military, it is used by civilians and law enforcement agencies worldwide. This realism-based system is designed to teach practical self-defense, ranging widely from regular to worst case scenarios, in the shortest possible span of time.
The system is designed for men and women; all shapes and sizes, and is limited only in ones mind as the body is subjected to exhausting, demanding conditions.
Learn to defend against common strikes, chokes, and grabs, as well as weapons such as guns, knives, sticks and bats. Learn to adjust to different levels of confrontations including shock and surprise attacks, violent encounters and many other situations.

Our Krav Maga training at 3 Squared Self Defense will get you in great shape fast and help you gain strength and confidence. Our self defense classes include a hybrid of styles, from krav maga to aikido, designed to keep you safe. Originally adapted as the fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces, Krav Maga has now been adopted around the world as one of the most effective and efficient self-defense systems ever taught.
*level 1 and basic on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm, Tuesdays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 10am*
*Level 2 and up on Mondays and Wednesday at 8pm, Tuesdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 10am*
Our KravFit class is designed to get you moving and stronger. Using HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), body weight, and kickboxing techniques, you will never do the same workout each class. At 3 Squared Self Defense, we know how to get you strong and in the best shape with fun, motivating classes. No matter what your current level of fitness, our KravFit classes are designed to help you get fitter, leaner and stronger so you can take on anything.

Our self defense classes include a hybrid of styles, from krav maga to aikido, designed to keep you safe. Kids' programs also include bullying awareness, Internet safety, and other strategies to resolve conflict and stay safe.

In 1995, Scott Gilbert lost his daughter to a violent crime. Through a long journey of healing and self-discovery, he realized his calling to ensure that other parents never have to endure the suffering caused by the life of a child.
At 3 Squared, our self defense classes will teach you the mechanics of self defense and physical fitness to ward off an attacker. But we go beyond that to address our mission, teaching good citizenship to children, building self esteem in kids and adults to help keep them out of bad situations, and motivating and inspiring others to do the same. We pray you'll never need to use what you learn in one of our self defense classes, and we work actively out in our community to make it a safer place.

Certified USKMA Instructor
Scott is a 5th Degree Black Belt in taekwondo, a USKMA certified instructor in Krav Maga and also studies karate, haganah, judo, and aikido, bringing the best of each discipline into a well-rounded practice that focuses on the most effective techniques and full body awareness.
